U50 Impairment of motor function

Superordinate classification: U50-U52 Impairment of function

Singular encoding of motoric functional restrictions within the first five in-patient days; in case of varying values within this period of time the highest score has to be encoded. In case of geriatric or early-rehabilitative treatment the encoding occurs analogous to the beginning of this treatment. The encoding requires the use of one of the mentioned standardized test methods (FIM: Functional Independence Measure®).

• U50.5 Severe impairment of motor function
• U50.4 Impairment of motor function
• U50.3 Moderately severe impairment of motor function
• U50.2 Moderate impairment of motor function
• U50.1 Lightly impairment of motor function
• U50.0 Nonexisting or unimportant impairment of motor function
