G82.6- Functional level of the injury of spine

Superordinate classification: G82 Paraplegia e tetraplegia

This subcategory serves for the encoding of the functional level of a spinal cord damage. The functional level of a spinal cord damage is defined as the lowest motoric intact spinal cord segment. For example, a "complete C4-lesion of the spinal cord" means, that the motoric function of the 4.th and higher cervical nerves is preserved and that below C4 there is no or functionally insignificant motoric function left.
